Merlin Paton-Usry (he/him/she/her) is a digital organizer from Dallas, Texas, living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his husband. Merlin is a dedicated activist committed to healing justice for survivors and social justice, especially within the LGBTQI2S+ and disabled communities. Before Survivors Know, Merlin held a wide variety of positions in the service industry, where he gained experiential knowledge of the abuses of power that are commonplace in the restaurant industry. Merlin wants to leave the world a better place than he found it, helping survivors find their voices as individuals and as a collective with tools to tell their stories on their own terms.
